Do you wake up at the same time every night?

This may not be just insomnia.

Author: Dr. Elfana Suleymanova Medically reviewed

Sometimes our body’s biological clock sends us signals at particular hours. The active hours of the organs, the state of the nervous system and daily habits directly affect the quality of sleep.

  • The body clock sends signals at certain hours
  • Tension built up during the day can wake the body at night
  • Shallow breathing and diaphragm restriction disrupt sleep
  • Caffeine, screen light and late meals shift the body clock

If a sleep disorder persists for a long time, tension in the body and the balance of the nervous system may also be one of the causes. In these cases, osteopathy may help restore balance and improve sleep quality.

We look not at where the pain is, but at where it comes from.
