Shoulder pain, frozen shoulder and rotator cuff injuries

Shoulder pain may not be about the shoulder alone — sometimes the cause lies in the cervical vertebrae.

1

Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)

Frozen shoulder syndrome makes even everyday movements difficult. When our patients come to us, they cannot comb their hair, feel severe shoulder pain when raising the arm, and experience restricted movement.

The treatment plan includes osteopathy, rehabilitation exercises, electrotherapy and physical modalities, medical massage and needle therapy. Thanks to applying these approaches together, the pain decreases within a short time and shoulder mobility is restored.

2

Rotator cuff syndrome

This syndrome is caused by injury to the muscles and tendons that keep the shoulder joint moving. It is seen especially in people who work at a computer for long periods, athletes and those who lift weights.

  • Shoulder pain, especially at night
  • Pain and weakness when raising the arm
  • Difficulty with simple movements such as getting dressed or combing your hair
3

Shoulder impingement syndrome

Osteopathic therapy releases restrictions in the joints and fasciae, physiotherapy and stretching exercises restore shoulder–spine balance, and proprioceptive exercises increase range of motion.
