Myofascial release and fascia therapy

As fascia stiffens, movement decreases, pain increases and the body tires. With work applied in the right direction, the fasciae are released.

Myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) is a condition characterized by pain, tenderness and stiffness in one or more muscle groups without a known cause.

Myofascial massage relieves pain by working on both the muscles and the deeper layers — especially the fasciae:

  • Reduces pain
  • Relieves muscle tension
  • Increases blood circulation and mobility
  • Improves posture
  • Reduces stress and fatigue

The lines shown on the sole of the foot are a special manual therapy map used to release the fasciae in the correct direction. When performed professionally, the result can be felt from the very first session.

When should you consider it?

  • Myofascial pain syndrome
  • Trigger points
  • Postural disorders
  • Chronic muscle tension
