What is osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis is the thinning of the cartilage in the joints and a gradual restriction of movement. Pain, stiffness and difficulty moving can make daily life harder.

Osteopathy uses gentle manual techniques to increase joint mobility, relax the surrounding muscles and improve blood circulation. Rehabilitation, in turn, preserves movement through strength, flexibility and balance exercises.

Osteopathy + rehabilitation together relieve pain, reduce the load on the joint, make daily movement easier and slow the progression of the disease.

We look not at where the pain is, but at where it comes from.
